What's that tuning in the intro? All I can figure is it's a C on the low string. Sounds like an F on the fifth string? Seems like a fourth and not a fifth when he hits them both open. Additionally, what kind of strings would I get to set one of my guitars up like that please? I need to break out of a rut and that tuning sounds killer.

If you adjust pedal to those setting provided on video your ears will begging you to stop. Amazing pedal, but tone knob is crazy after 9 o clock.

My one big complaint is there should be kick ass presets ready for you right out of the box. Fender, Marshall, Vox AC30, Mesa, Orange etc. using the amps control panel. I haven't downloaded anything yet fyi. I know this amp can sound pretty amazing, I've heard the videos. Maybe I'm being lazy and it's probably a good thing to force people into TS and Librarian to experience what this thing can really do. I was just hoping I could plug it in and turn up a Mesa dual rectifier.

I have been unable to select memories 5-127. According to the manual, I have to press the "Rate" button to switch between memories or use the “memory/tap" button but it only changes from "manual" memories "1-4. Am I missing a step here?

Dear Boss team, A discussion about the Boss Katana MK II has arisen on RUclips that is causing some confusion. The trade magazine "Guitarist" explains in one of its videos that Boss explicitly stated that the Katana MK II would produce its amp sounds in analog form. I have received similar statements from the German trade press. Only the effects are created digitally, but not the basic sound of the amp, which is analog. My question is as follows: Is it correct to call the Katana a modeling amp - or an analog amp? With musical greetings from Germany Mic.

It's a great device, but I'm now having problems turning off the Extrnal Mic, so I can just record guitar, or bass, for instance. I've only got one answer via Google, and it doesn't work. Maybe it's just had its day, as I've been using the device for ten years, and never had this issue before.

Yeah it sucks that it has no audio and that it doesn't say where the other end of the plug went to. Way make a video without proper info.Goes to show not many people have this product and if we want any satisfying footage we gotta do it ourselves
